Import wid file

I am a new user. I had someone email a .wid file. When I try to pull it in it seems to work but the extension shows as file type Agnostic and it is basically worthless. Is there something special I need to do to import this so I can actually run it?

Have you tried opening it with the "Administrator" user?

Save it to your local machine, open it with the Web Intelligence Rich Client, and then save it to the BI server (if you have permission to do so).

Ayman - What if we do not have permission to open the local .wid document? The user who created it saved it with security on and is no longer with the company.
