BEX: Restrict Selection Option

Hi

In my query I configured Cost Center characteristic as Selection Option, however I need to restrict the field to not include the value '#' when the users displays all the records within Cost Center characteristic or to remove the value after the query is executed.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi Lucero,

I am assuming you are talking about F4 restricts. If it is so, you can try changing the Bex tab option of Cost Centre perhaps to read the info provider(assuming that there would not be any blank Cost center field in the data set). If nothing works out, use BADI to remove it out.

one way is tho programm an ABAP BAPI to influence F4 help - search for this here, there are some posts about this.

other option is, to exclude # in query filter and use the variable in query default, that will exclude # from the variable.
