Hello all,
As you can see in the image in the first four weeks of the table I have enough capacity to produce.
The thing is that the percentage of occupation is very low...What can I do to increase the capacity and reduce the number of weeks of production?
I can produce everything in the first week, first and second week....that is not a problem.
I have tried some things but the production was always spread throug the 4 weeks.
Thank you
Jose
Hello Mr. Jose,
Could you please check the Distribution maintained in the Workcenter (Capacities Tab).
May be that would be a reason for this behavior for the Capacities getting distributed.
Best Regards

Hello Jose,
The Other way is you have to increase the Order Quantity , let's say initially your order quantity is 1000, increase the Order Quantity to 5000 or 10000, then you can observe that Capacity Utilized will be increased to 70 % or 80% depending on the Order Quantity.
Hope this helps.

Hello Aditya,
Thank you for your input.
I know that the order quantity increase is going to put higher values in the capacity utilization.
The thing is....I want to do the order in 1 week instead of 4 weeks and I have capacity for that and sap is spreading the order for the 4 weeks I want to do the order as fast as I can.
Thank you.
Regards,
Jose
Hello Jose,
You can increase the Capacity Load by creating more Production/Process Order in a specific week, create more orders spread over week 1,2,3 and 4 then you can check the capacity load, this will definitely increase the load.
Check and provide your feedback.

Hello Aditya,
That is a solution for sure. But imagine that I only have that order.
What can I do to improve the capacity percentage and by consequence reduce the number of weeks?
For me it doesn`t make much sense to have a week occupied only with 7 or 8%...
I would appreciate your feedback.
Thank you.
Regards,
José
