Netveawer client 7.5 tcp keep alives

hi out there - we have been replacing our firewall's and have now tcp idle disconnects on client sessions - the simplest would probably be to define a keep-alive value somewhere in the client but honestly - I cannot find any entry which looks as something related to tcp-keepalive's - can somebody tell me where I find this in this SAP Gui for Windows - release 750 - finale release

Hello Thomas,

The keepalives are sent by the SAP server, not by the SAP GUI.

Refer to the parameters "rdisp/keepalive" and "rdisp/keepalive_timeout".

hello Isaias

Thanks for the prompt answer - is it not possibly to force the client to send keep-alives also?

Hello Thomas,

You are welcome!
I am not aware of any settings that you can do at the SAP GUI, so it also sends keep alives.
