SAP QM-SELECTED SETS

Hello All,

When I am assigning selected set codes to the selected sets I am getting the error attached.

Since I am a newbie in QM ,kindly provide your inputs.capture.jpg

When in that screen.. scroll farther to the right. The column for the valuation will be to the far right along with other values to be set.

thank you for the details with the screenshot.

Could you please check, what is set for your own defined Catalog type 'X' in the customizing path:
IMG (transaction SPRO or QCC0)
>Quality Management
>>Quality Planning
>>>Basic Data
>>>>Catalogs
>>>>>Define Catalog Types
--> check Details of affected catalog type, especially indicator 'Valuation required':

F1 Help of the indicator:

"Valuation of Selected Set Is Required
Use
If you set this indicator, the codes that are contained in the selected set must be valuated with 'Acceptance' or 'Rejection'.
Dependencies
This indicator is only allowed for the catalog types

• 1 Characteristic attributes and
• 3 Usage decisionts and is set there "automatically."

If this indicator is active, system is expecting a valuation to be entered for the selected set codes. In transaction QS51/QS53 when maintaining the codes, scroll to the right and look for a column 'Valuation Code'. That needs to be filled.
