LSMW : Batch Input Recording For BOM Creation

Dear All,

Please someone can share documents with images or videos for multiple component : BOM creation using LSMW : Batch Input Recording.

I have tried multiple component : BOM creation using LSMW : Standard Batch/Direct input and it works very well.

Kindly consider.

If Batch/Direct input works very well why do you wish to use Batch Input Recording?

Batch Input Recording is typically used as a last resort, it is the least flexible of all possible options for BOM upload.

Hello Rohit,

You can upload the BOM through LSMW Batch input recording

in this process

first you should record the BOM Creation through define object attributes

here there will be a problem i.e. if during recording if you maintain 5 components

system will allow you to upload only 5 or less than 5 components,

so better to proceed with Direct input method

BOM creation using LSMW : Standard Batch/Direct input and it works very well.

If standard batch inputs works well then why do you want to use the Batch Input Recording?

Use standard object 30 (material BOM) which will upload BOM with program RCSBI010

Better if you are using IDoc method in LSMW instead batch recording method because one FG BOM have many components. It is not easy for make recording of create BOM with many components.

For IDoc method, you can using message type BOMMAT with basic type BOMMAT04.

If you are googling first then you can found blog about LSMW for uploading BOM using batch input method: LSMW for uploading BOM.

Beside IDoc method, you can using batch input method too.

In the future, please googling first before you post question in SAP forum.
