Install CBTA Client on Server

Hello Togehter,

is it possible to install the CBTA- Client on a Server instead of the local mashine?

I will provide the CBTA scripts internally so no one needs to install the client on their local PC.

Or is there another way?

thanks

    Hello Ramon,

How do you plan to record & execute the CBTA script when its installed on Server ? Is there any specific reason you want to install in Server and not on local machine.

    Thanks,

    Aj

    Hello Ajay

Excuse me pleas for barging in like this

I was exited to read the questions and looked forward to the answer. In our case is running it locally also a problem. We work as a financial institution on secured desktop clients. All that needs to be installed must to go to an acceptance process. All software has to be packaged and has to comply with strict rules.

CBTA needs execution right on a local directory, that is hard to explain and is something that our security officers find unacceptable.

It’s a struggle that has been going on since 7.1, Therefore I would welcome it if there was another way to run CBTA

    Best regards

    Otto
