General information

  • 1908 release (August 2019 release) is the last productive release for HTML5 UI.
  • Editable Datasets – for many Datasets, it is now possible to edit information directly within the Dataset without having to navigate to the Object Detail.
  • Editable Quick View Window – make the users’ work quicker by not opening the object and edit it from the quick view.
  • Header Fields editable without entering full edit mode means more streamlined work if you need small changes on the object.
  • Mobility
    • Dashboard filters are now passed on to reports when a user drills down to the report from dashboard. The option to Analyze data is now made available also on mobile devices.
  • Business Partners
    • Address Validations for Individual Customers.
  • Data Workbench
    • MS Excel File format support. MS Excel is an alternative format (to .csv) for importing Complete BO data. Supports both Insert and Upsert operations.
  • Custom Development
    • Use Transport Management to move the SDK solution from one tenant to another. It’s now possible for an administrator to move an assembled SDK solution across test tenants

What’s new in Sales

  • You can now create a new contact person in the value help for contact person search and assign it directly to the sales objects.
  • Sales Quotes – Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Integration
    • You can integrate Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) directly to the Sales Quote based on the selected Document Type. The CLM document output can then be leveraged in place of the standard quote output.
  • Sales Order – Color Coding for ATP
    • The color codes for the ATP (Available-to-Promise) check are now also supported in SAP Fiori UI for Sales orders. Product availability, derived from the requested delivery date, can be easily spotted.
  • Activities – Workflow Rules for Email
    • An Automated Email can be sent to a customer in response to an email received.
    • Immediate acknowledgment of an email received from a customer is now possible for emails that do not generate tickets.
  • Surveys – Follow-Up Tasks from Surveys
    • You can design surveys that provide business users with the option to create follow-up tasks from the survey.
    • Key Business Benefits – streamlines the process of acting on surveyed conditions. Immediately trigger follow-up tasks to improve customer engagement.
  • Perfect Store – Follow-up Order from Perfect Store Surveys

What’s new in Service

  • Chat – Support the new SAP Contact Center widget
    • Enable the embedding of the new SAP contact center widget in the Live Activity Center.
    • Support multiple Chat sessions on the Widget when working along with Live Activity.
  • Ticket – Embed Images in Ticket Work description & Description
    • This will help customers to add details along with pictures in the description and work description of the ticket helping them to describe the problem more accurately.
  • Mobile Field Service – New App for FSM
    • Custom Push notifications.
    • Brand the app with your own colors iOS & Android Apps.
    • New screens with a focus on travel and work items.
  • Field Service Optimization – Route optimization via Greedy Algorithm
    • Fully customizable optimization for the service execution.
    • Decrease technicians time on the road.
