Hi All,
I have a query in IPO(Individual Purchase Order), the respective schedule Line Cat - CB doesn't have Availability and TOR was switched off but the relevant Requirement class "KEB" has both Availability as well TOR. I also understand that "TAB" has special stock indicator "E" whereas we need to add the stock in MB1C then only we can able to deliver the product against the sales order.
Can anyone help in understanding the below queries?
1) Why in schedule line level "CB" the availability check and TOR was switched off for IPO, whereas it was activated only in Requirement Class(KEB)?
2) What is the use of Consumption Posting "E" For account assignment cat "E"? the same consumption posting is 'V' is for Third party transaction "CS" so need to understand the difference.
2. In your project costing is used?
If yes.
For that we have to maintain a/c assignment cat. E.

Thanks Shrikant, the account assignment category "E" for CB, the consumption posting is "E" and the description says as "Accounting Via Sales Order", so this means that the costing will be carried out via sales order, didn't understand the concept. could you please elaborate more.
Why we use consumption posting as "V" for third party processing for account assignment category "1" ? what will be the difference between "E' and "V"?
