CCO Barcode Includes Article and Batch Number

In SAP CCO,

Customer will stick a barcode label on the goods, containing 2 information:

1- Article Code

2- Batch Number

So they want to automate this information on the Sales Screen, with no need to select the batch number manually.

Is that possible in SAP CCO?

In the standard solution, it is not possible. You may try to achieve your needs via plugin.

Hello Ahmad,

There is a parameter in the CCO that enables the automatic batch number determination, without select it manually.

To activate it, go to Configuration > Integration > SAP Business One and Switch to "On" the parameter "Enable automatic batch number determination"

The batch number is assigned automatically based on the "first in, first out" principle via the integration framework for SAP Business One

Thanks @Anderson Schmitt for your reply.

However, no one needs the AUTOMATIC batch number determination.

We need to read the actual batch number from the Bar-Code label as I clearly mentioned on my question.

Yes, we need to avoid manual selection of Batches, but of course not by corrupting the item batch balances by issuing a different batch number than the one which actually was sold to the end customer.
