SAP GUI 7.6 - Not reading registry

During installation of SAP GUI we have set the reg valuse : NwEngine.Shell.SetRegValue "HKCU\Software\SAP\General\Language", "REG_SZ", "EN" at the "Install end" and "Update End" but it's like the GUI is not reading HKEY_CURRENT_USER, but reading the entry in HKEY_USERS

This means we get the wrong language due to WIN10 and locations thinking that since we are in Denmark we better set the language to DA.

I have tried to manually set the reg values under HKCU, but the entry is ignored by the gui at startup.

If i make the same changes under "HKEY_USERS" i will work just fine

But how do i make the install server write into HKEY_USERS ?

Thank you, but tried it as both local admin and Domain admin, and still the same. The registry is only set in HKEY_Users and not in HKEY-Current_User.

I will try doing it on a clean installed laptop, and see if that makes any difference.

Hi Jens.

1. Are you have administrator privileges?

2. Execute the SAPGUIsetup in administrator as mention in the screen shot
