HANA SPS12: Installing SAP HANA PLATFORM EDITION 2.0

Hi,

From the download page for HANA SPS12, I see that we have the following two versions available:

SAP HANA PLATFORM EDITION 1.0

SAP HANA PLATFORM EDITION 2.0

Can I install version 2.0 directly or do I have to first install 1.0 and then upgrade to 2.0?

Hello Mohammed,

You can download and install both seperately. 2.0 is not dependent to 1.0.

For production systems DSP Revision (SAP production system verified SAP HANA Revision) is recommended by SAP. There is no DSP revision for 2.0 yet.

For test purposes you can install 2.0.
