Difference between Advanced return management and Store returns

What is the difference between advanced Returns management and store returns with outbound and inbound delivery? In ARM, after the goods receipt in the receiving plant, the material inspection is carried out and the logistical follow-up action is confirmed. Are the material inspection and follow-up actions also required for store returns?

Is there also a "returns overview" like by ARM?
