2008 application migration from a 2008 R2 windows server to a new 2012 R2 windows Server

We have installed the same version of Crystal reports on the 2012 server are as were installed on the 2008 server

CRRedist2005_x86,

CRRedist2008_x64,

CRRedist2008_x86

I believe this is version 10.5. We moved the code over to the new server and installed these files, when we try to pull up a Crystal report we are getting "Invalid Report file Path". The application we are attempting to port over was built using VS 2008. Is this a result of a compatibility issue?

It could potentially be a compatibility issue. Also, you need to make sure you're logged in with Administrator rights to install the runtime. You do not need the 2005 runtime, just the 2008 versions.

Is this a web, Windows, or console app?
