Hey guys, I'm new to SAP PM and trying to make a single cycle plan process in SAP PM. I just wonder how can we know when exactly the system will generate the maintenance order. For example, in this picture, the system should automatically release a maintenance order today (24/09/2019), but how can I know (or configure) the specific time? Or should I just wait for the system to release the order?
It will trigger anytime when you access IP10 and save or when IP30 (background job of IP10) runs on the call date.
Normally IP10 would show you "SAVE TO CALL". Not quite sure, how yours says "HOLD".
Go to IP10 - enter plan number - press start - specify start date - save
Then go back and then you can select the first line of the list and below there's a button to display the order.

Thank you for your answer.
When I clicked to the line in scheduling and click the button "release" in the bottom, the order was generated. But I wonder that can the system automatically generate the order for me when the call date comes, not we always have to manually release like this?
And if the system can automatically generate maintenance order from scheduling on call date, then how can I know exactly the time? (Or how can I get the information from the system that the maintenance order was released automatically?)
hannguyen normally you shouldnt even have to press the release. As soon as you enter the IP10 it should be scheduling the order. When you save it should generate. I think there's something wrong in your master data.
Regarding your question to automatically generate: set up a variant in IP30 and then put this variant in a background job that runs every night at 01.00 for example.
It will schedule all the plans at that time automatically.
Hi, you can start it for the first time with the IP10 Transaction, as I see your call horizon is 80%, for that reason It´ll lunch +/ - 6 days before the Plan date.
Also you can create a JOB scheduling using IP30 RISTRA20, here is the link for creating it,

Hi,
It depends on your Start of cycle date and the duration you maintained in cycle/unit.
