What is the major difference between the function of Internal Order and WBS Project System? Both are for cost collectors. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both in terms of organizational cost controlling and reporting?
Hi,
Two objects belong to different modules. WBS not only can be a cost collector, but play a role in project management (planning, monitoring, etc.). From CO perspective, though, there is no difference between them and all CO functionalities are applicable to both objects.

Eli

To keep it as a simple answer, I would say WBS provide more functionality and more options. If your business requirement is simple and has a fit with Internal orders, they are simple and easy to use. If requirment is more complex, WBS can be a better fit, but the cost of ownership will be also higher...
