Title Mapping between C4C and Marketing Cloud

Hi Experts ,

Is there any way i can see the list values for the title field . I am facing the integration issue for the title field from c4c to marketing . Is there any way i can see the the already available values in mkt and if required how can i maintain any missing values for the title field ??

Hello Rashmi,
your question was already answered by Felix, it's not possible at the moment. But there is workaroud I would like to share with you. It's simple, just create new custom field with type Code List and fullfilled List Values with your requested titles. Then just add custom field to Contact profile.

Unfortunately the configuration of additional titles is currently not planned in the S/4 HANA application basis.

Map free text is not going to help me here as it only maps the free text to existing values . I think in mkt there are four values for title . In c4c there are others which i have to map here in mkt . For that i need to create additional values . Please let me know how to create additional values so that i can map the other values .

To remove any confusion , i don't want to map the extra values from c4c to existing values in mkt . I want to create additional categories .

you can see the available title codes in the Map Free Texts app in SAP Marketing Cloud.

Thanks for the reply . There are some codes which are extra in c4c . If i will do free text , will that work?

As i am getting error in the import monitor but nothing in unmapped texts !!

Hi Rashmi,

unfortunately as far as I know it is not possible in SAP Marketing Cloud to create new values for Title.

I have the same problem with Region Codes that exist in C4C but not in Marketing Cloud.

I think you have to open an Improvement Request for that. So as you already mentioned you have only the option to map the extra values to existing values in Marketing Cloud.

Many limitations for this product !! unfortunately the titles those are missing in mkt , during integration its not coming in the free text so no options to map there also .. then something i have to think in the CPI .. The error is coming in import monitor saying value not found and error !! ..

I agree. So I think you're right and have to do the mapping already in CPI with fixValues.

Thanks for replying . Yes checking c4c code list also . But in any solution , I have to map it to existing data only . Very difficult to convince clients anyway !!
