SAP HANA Intergration with Payment Gateway through SAP PO

Dear Experts,

my client wants to integrate SAP HANA with payment gateway through SAP PO for payments. So could any one help me with what are the possible ways available from SAP PO prospective to communicate with gateway services, in terms of connectivity, Security for robust services.
