Open in browser link in the c4c mail

Does the standard c4c allow adding a link in the mail of a c4c sales campaign so it can be opened in browser?

We would like to add an 'Open in Browser' link so that our clients can view their mail in browser instead of their MailClient.

Is it possible in the standard solution?

Hi Amine,

Within the C4C system there is no such functionality and I doubt I will be possible using customization as well.

Since you mentioned that the mail should have a link to open itself in the browser, this can only be possible if the functionality is available with the Mail service provider.

Your customers might use multiple mail clients and some might or might not support this feature.

Hello Amine,

Any hyperlinks in emails in C4C should be handled in the HTML code of the template.

This will allow the link(s) to be opened in a browser when a person opens the email as the hyperlink will be enabled in the email templates using HTML code.

Hello Ankur,

Thanks for taking interest in my question.

We want the hyperlink to be dynamic, i.e calling for the mail object to display the content that is customized for the contact that opens the link.

Apparently, this is not feasable using the standard tools of C4C, so we are trying to see if a solution using SDK and other tools could be made

Thanks

Hi Amine,

I did not get your query completely.

But C4C Campaign only sends out the mail based on the HTML template Content that you create and upload. So if this can be handled in your template Itself, this is possible.

Also Campaign mails behave the same way in browser as well as in Mail clients.

Hello Arun,

Thanks for taking interest in my question.

What we want is to be able to have a link in the mail received in, for example Outlook Desktop, that opens the mail in a web browser.

I understand that it is up for us to add the link in the template, but since the mail is dynamic (i.e has placeholders) the content differs from contact to another so we would like to know if C4C has a built-in link to access the mail that corresponds to the recipient.

Thank you again,

Arun
