CSS Modifications

Hi.

I have made some simple modifications to the stylesheet in terms of changing the color underlining etc. The problem is, whenever I make these changes (through SE80), they don't take effect until I restart BW! I am not sure if this is the behavior or is there any other way.

Hi Anand,

Before you can see the changes to a MIME object (like CSS or may be adding a logo) take effect in your web template, you will have to delete the cache.

You can do this in SMICM > Goto > HTTP Server Cache > Invalidate > Global in System.

Thanks a lot Bhanu. But It still doesn't seem to clear the cache for some reason.

The foll is the change that I have made:

SAPBEXstdDataEmph {

background-color: #FBF4EF;

color:#FF0000

But this took effect only after a restart.

The foll are my paramter settings:

icm/HTTP/server_cache_0/expiration: 86400

icm/HTTP/server_cache_0/clear:TRUE

The above seem OK to me.

Try closing out every session related to your report (IE and also WAD), then clear the cache and try again. I have tried this many times and it does work. The parameter settings look okay too...

It works now. Of course I carried out all the clear cache options:

1. WAD

2. SMICM

3. WAD

4. Browser

5. TCODE-RSRCACHE

Now I will figure out which one did the trick by a process of elimination.
