SAP WebIDE authorization

When I change the "configuration type" under Security->Trust in SAP cloud platform subaccount from "default" (accounts.sap.com) to "custom"(SAP successfactors Userstore), WEB IDE doesn't work anymore. It says "You are not authorized to access WebIDE...". How can I have access to WEBIDE again while using custom configuration for Single Sign-on for my custom application that I have deployed in the same account. Can I import WEBIDE roles into successfactors ?

Hi Jacklyn,

You have to first create a group in SCP which has the Web IDE roles.

Then go to the SCP cockpit. On left hand menu, go to Security->Trust. Go to tab 'Application Identity provider'. You should see the trusted identity provider here. click on the name and go to 'Groups' tab. Here you can assign the custom group created above either based on the groups you have assigned in the success factor system or it can be added as a default group for all the users , depending on your requirement.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi,

You can assign platform roles depending on the assertion attributes from successfactors.

Hi Sharadha,

Could you please be more specific? The assertion attributes might have been set up via the automatic trust set up between SCP and successfactors via Integration token which is entered in the successfactors provisioning system. Could you give me an example.

Thanks

Jacklyn
