Technically delete commodity codes from materials in S4HANA 1709

Dear experts.

Our customer is using Commodity codes in S4hana for materials. They are created in transaction /n/SAPSLL/CLSNR_01: Manage commodity codes.

They load material commodity codes through migration cockpit object: Material-Commodity codes.

And they can edit them in fiori APP: Manage commodity codes.

My question is: Can relationship in S4 (not fiori) be technically deleted so i upload massively thorugh migration cockpit?

I mean tables, transactions, etc.

Hi Sergio,

I have tested right now with S4HANA on premise 1809.

As expected, deleting from table MARC did not work.

But deleting from the table I mentioned in my previous post (table /SAPSLL/MARITC) worked fine.

Anyhow, I guess you want to delete the commodity code of the product to replace it with another commodity code. Why don’t just use the reclassification feature for that?

Actually if you remove from table, and i want to add it again through migration cockpit says, value already assigned. Must have to do with migration cockpit staging tables. Solved!

Thank you Mouaz, yes ive tried to delete it but material keeps being associated to a particular commodity code even when deleted from the table.
