Invalid input mappingt while rating from SAP CC from CIT

Hi Experts,

We have business requirement to rate the incoming events based on monthly volume. We are receiving the CIT from CM->CC->CI . But when we are trying to rate we are getting error "Invalid input mapping type". we are pushing the same data values using -chargeableItemCharging, CC Is generating the BIT but it is giving error when we are processing it from CI as rating . We are not doing any aggregation. Same data when we are sending from SOAP CC generates the BITs. Please help.

Hi Archana,

Mapping issues generally occur when the values of the fields (generated by Convergent Charging) are not compliant with the specifications of the billable item class (defined in ERP).
For example, this can be due to a modification in ERP that needs to be replicated to CC.
To precisely diagnose such issues precisely, it is best to reproduce the issue after having enabled the following debug traces:
- WS in the dispatcher
- MSG in the rater
- and JCO in the bulkloader

Can you please do that, create a BCP ticket on IS-CC, and attach the log files there (all TRC and LOG files)?
Thanks and regards.

Hi Archana,

Thank you for opening the support ticket as requested.

For future reference, the issue was due to a value of an incorrect type (string instead of number) passed to a tier table, in your pricing logic, and you resolved that by converting the string into a number on CI's side.
