Migrating sbop to a new windows server

Hello,

We need to upgrade the current server (with sbop 4.1 on it) from windows server 2008 to 2012. My understanding is that I need to set up a new server (Windows Server 2012), install a new instance of sbop, then migrate the data over to the new server. Regarding the details, I have a couple of questions:

1. On the new server, I will need to create a new SIA, Do I also need to get a new CMC database and copy over the current CMC database contents?

2. To configure this new instance, I will have to give the same production product key. The question is if this process takes more than a couple of months before we really begin to use it as the production system (since it's also related to other applications, which need to be upgraded at the same time), will there be any license issue? If I give a testing product key at the very beginning, will it be easy to update the product key to the production one after all the data is migrated?

3. Is there any related document for reference?

Thanks very much!
