Error not getting triggered even value in PO is more than the budget allotted

Hi All,

I have created a project and assigned budget to all the WBS Elements and released the budget. for one WBS i have assigned budget of 100000 INR.

Now i am creating a PO in USD with more than the budget value but system is showing no errors. but only with some warnings. i can able to save the PO.

Please let me know how to get error message for budget exceeding.

Hi Shrikant,

The tolerance is defined fine.

Solved it by myself. Actually the issue is with the GL Master data where there is no Tick mark under Control Data tab" Record Account Assignment" which will automatically create Cost element with category "90".gl-account.jpg

Hi Kusam,

Please check the tolerance limit configuration for Budget.

SAP IMG-->PROJECT SYSTEM-->COSTS-->BUDGET---> DEFINE TOLERANCE LIMITS.

Column "Action" decides the error or warning.
