Replication of Views with SAP LT Replication Server

scenario:

1) Replicate data from SAP source system to SAP HANA

2) Want to replicate T1 and T2 table from source system, assign View V1 for T1 & T2 as database view, leading table is T1. View V1

My questions are:

1. Any changes of table T1 (T2 not change) in source system, the delta will be replicate to the target system?

2. Any changes of table T2 (T1 not change) in source system, the delta will be replicate to the target system?

Best Regards,

Sandra

Let us say T1 is EKKO, T2 is EKPO (EKKO: PO header; EKPO PO Item)

For example user create a PO#1 with 2 lines, I need to make sure target system get the PO create or changes when both EKKO and EKPO records ( PO#1 with EKKO 1 record; EKPO 2 records) arrived, in this case trigger based data can't make sure of this, so I want to use SLT database/projection view functionality to achieve this.

Hi Sandra,
I understand your case, but it not possible with SLT. SLT don't provide a data consistency between replicated tables.

Hi Sandra,

the main question what are you expected to get in the target system?

Currently, SLT replicates data only on table level. It means, that you have to add table into configuration, not a view. If you add T1, SLT creates triggers on the T1 table and according that any changes in T1 will be replicated. Of course changes in T2 will not be taken in account.

If you add T2 also, then you will get in target 2 separate tables, but a single table with not a common view representation.
