HARDWARE REQUIREMENT TO INSTALL IDES ON PRIVATE LAPTOP

Hello Expert,

kindly provide me with PAM for installing an IDES system on laptop with the following spec. 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM Core i5. with this spec can i install IDES system on the laptop. i will be happy to have an answer on this. Thanks

PAM tool does not provide Sizing. The hardware you have is sufficient for IDES installation.

Hi - you probably could, but why do this when it is more readily/easily available in the SAP Cloud Appliance Library - cal.sap.com - the set up is easy, and all you would pay would be cloud provider (e.g. AWS) usage fees, which are small. The installation would already be done for you. It is the fastest easiest way to access SAP

I am new in SAP BASIS and i want to do the installation myself and start practicing on the IDES system. That is the major reason i am asking for hardware requirement. Thanks
