Hi guys,
Could someone give me links to explore the user-exits. I have just completed the Abap course in an institute and got to know that in real time we work only on user-exits to modify the programs. Is this correct ????
Thanks in advance
Ram.
Hi Ram,
Its not that we have to only work with user-exits to modify programs..some programs may not contain any user-exit for modifications...n hence u need to copy the entire program in this case into a Y/Z program for modifications.
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Bikash

The R/3 enhancement concept allows you to add your own functionality to SAPs standard business applications without having to modify the original applications.
SAP creates user exits for specific programs, screens, and menus within standard R/3 applications. These exits do not contain any functionality. Instead, the customer exits act as hooks. You can hang your own add-on functionality onto these hooks.
Please mention your mail id.I shall send you some documents.
