Hello,
I'm currently working with a consulting group implementing S/4 on prem and connecting to salesforce. I was very surprised to see their proposed solution for updating salesforce data by pushing delta idocs of material master data driven by pointers, rather than pulling data using SOAP, business events or other some other method.
Is the use of pointers and ALE considered best practice for integration with external apps in S/4? this seems like a very dated concept.
