Client User system hang or not working while opening BP master Data

Dear All,

One of my colleague facing Problem while opening Business Partner Master Data his system is stopped working or Hang he is not able to make any transaction its showing close application. So please help me to resovle out.

Note : It is on Client PC not on Server.

Hi Brij Pratap Singh,

There are two things you can try first:

  1. Delete the SM_OBS_DLL folder: Close the SAP Business One client -> open Windows Explorer -> in the address field type %temp% -> find the SM_OBS_DLL folder and delete it -> restart the SAP Business One client.
  2. If that didn't help: Uninstall SAP Business One from the PC, including any addons and the DI API. Also perform step 1 above.

If that didn't work please check the following:

  • Does this happen on this PC only? Test with the same user on another PC.
  • Does this happen to this user only? Test with another user on this same PC
  • Does this always happen or only sometimes? Check if any other processes / applications are running at the moment this happens.
  • Does this happen with a specific BP or group of BPs?
  • Does this user have any addons installed?
  • Are there any formatted searches set up?
