Dear experts,
Our costumer is planing to install SAP Data Hub. It is going to be probably a cloud instance. SAP ADP is also going to be evaluated during this phase. But one thing is not clear at the moment. Where is SAP ADP going be running? Should we have a separet native HANA DB to install ADP on it or can we (should we) use the SAP HANA which is integrated in SAP Data Hub. Is there any documentation or installation guide regarding to SAP Data Hub <> ADP Integration where I can find this kind of information?
Thanks and Regards,
Koray
Hi Koray,
using the "integrated" SAP HANA is technically not advisable and legally (from licensing perspective) not allowed. Hence that is not an option.
So for ADP you will need a separate SAP HANA instance. Alternative is to use the data preparation features included in SAP Data Hub itself (which, to be honest upfront, is still limited compared to what ADP offers... but over time we plan to extend it).
