Hi,
I am seeking your help to finish this report. I have three sub reports and all reports have been sorted and grouped by homeroom followed by student ID. There is a main report which contains all students of that school. The idea is all students who either owe money or library item /s must show on this list. Now I created all three reports and put them in details section as details a, details b, details c and when I run this report, it gives me perfect result as I needed it.
The only problem I am finding is the group ID and student# is repeating in every section, which looks a little annoying. All I need is all three reports student# should come under one homeroomif they belong to that homeroom.
I tried many ways to fix this issue, I am unable to achieve result. In nutshell,
Is there any smart way to achieve the results? Please help me.
I can not attach subreport images for some reason....
Can you put the group ID and student# in a group header on the main report and then remove that data from the sub-reports?

Hi Mona,
When you use subreports and want to "link" them with a row/group in the Main Report, you need to pass values into the subreport so that the report can filter data on the particular value.
Right-click each subreport > Select Change Subreport Links > Move the homeroom field to the pane on the right > At the bottom right where it says 'select data in subreport based on field', choose the homeroom field.
Do the same for the Student field as well.
Repeat this for each subreport.

Hi Dell,
It did not work fully. My detail section has only student#s as a result it's hard to suppress the ones which are not being used by other subreports
Thanks .
