Payroll simulation not working

Hello, I work for an agency that uses a Shared Services model for our payroll services. Unfortunately our payroll provider is not very helpful when it comes to answering our questions so I thought I would ask here for help with an issue I am having.

As a HR officer, I have access to certain parts of the payroll system such as PA20, PT50 and PC00_M13_CALC_SIMU. I use the latter quite often to let staff members know if they will be receiving allowances, overtime or other payments in the upcoming pay period. I used to be able to run the pay simulation without any problems but now when I do I get an error notice stating "HR form ZSDO_PAYSLIP" does not exist. If I remove the form name I then just get a Display Log Tree instead of the payroll simulation like I used to.

Does anyone know why this is happening or what I can do to fix it so that I can run the pay simulation?

Thank you.

hI,

I cannot tell you how it is supposed to behave, but I can tell you the behavior I observe if I simulate payroll (molga 08 and 11).

When simulating payroll you effectively have 4 choices

1. Summary of numbers processed plus payroll log tree

2. Summary of numbers processed plus payroll log tree plus pay slip display

3. Summary of numbers processed plus automatic payslip display

4. Summary of numbers processed only

For 1. Run with the 'Display Log' check box ticked and 'No renumeration statement' button checked.

For 2 Run with the 'Display Log' check box ticked and 'HR form name' button checked with your forname selected from the drop down. When you run it this was the payslip is no displayed by default. For the form to display once the payroll runs and you have the log, choose the form button (F6) from the tool bar and it should display.

For 3 . Run with the 'Display Log' check box un ticked and 'HR form name' button checked with your forname selected from the drop down. When you run it this was the payslip should display by default

For 4. Run with the 'Display Log' check box un ticked and 'No renumeration statement' button checked

So untick the 'Display Log' select radio button 'HR form name' with your forname selected from the drop down and you should be good to go.
