Hi Everyone,
I have FiscPer as a selection in my InfoPackage. I choose Type '5' and inputted the following:
From Value 2006001
To Value 2006001
Next Periods from Value 2006002
Period Indicator 1
Number of periods until repitation 12
I ran this today to test this. I thought with the above when I executed the infopackage the first time it ran wtih above selection criteria. When I ran the second time I expected selection criteria to be 2006002 - 2006002. Instead it ran again for 2006001 - 2006001.
Can someone let me know what I'm doing incorrect?
This is a full load that will run monthly. So each month have load for 2006001, 2006002, 2006003 and so forth.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike,
If you need to load data for a Period at a time, you can also try to use OLAP variable (Type 7) like 0FPER (Current Fiscal Year / Period) or like 0P_PRFP1 (Previous period of current year)..you cna choose from the list for what is relevant for your reqt.
Hope this helps...

Hi Bhanu,
I was just looking at that. That should work if it works like assumed below. Can you verify?
I input OFPER. Load runs anytime in January, it will load 2006001. Load runs anytime in February, it will load 2006002. Load runs anytime in March, it will load 2006003, and so on.
If this is how it works...great!
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike,
Yes that is correct, assuming that Period 1 in your system corresponds to January. When you use the FiscPer variable remember to also put in the Fisc Variant. Also a point here is that multiple loads in the same period may duplicate the data is loading to a cube, so you may need to set up deletion measures here.
Hope this helps...
selection wont change it is a constant value..
second time u run, give the second months value..

BWer
