Define trading week interval for reporting purpose

We are an FMCG business which needs to extract sales data on a weekly interval based on "retail trading" definition from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. The current preset date in ByD only allow calendar week from Monday to Sunday.

Is there any way to add another way to add a trading week interval so that we can use for reporting purpose?

Hi Son Tra,

Please share some more details to check your query

Example: share the report name or screen where you are expecting the different weekly interval

Hi Saulo,

In the current solution, SAP provided predefined time duration interval in a calendar week (from Monday to Sunday) or calendar month (from 1 to 30/31 each month) for the purpose of viewing a report. We would like to add more retail-specific time intervals:

(i) Trading week - from Wednesday to the following Tuesday. In retail, the trading week usually starts on Wednesday and ends on Tuesday of the following week. With this, we can view the sales orders data on a trading week basis which is more relevant for FMCG retail scenario.

(ii) fiscal quarter - ie the quarters from this financial year

Please let me know if this is clear. Thanks.

Regards,

Son.
