Factory Calendar definition in S/4Hana cloud

Hello SAP consultants,

I am starting my journey on Hana cloud and I am researching on functionalities and evaluating scope for a possible client. One of the questions was if Hana cloud was able to define what we all know as a factory calendar.

From many ECC previous implementations, that is an easy one! this can be achieved by SCAL transaction and then utilized by MRP and capacity planning in different modules.

Now, I have seen on the SAP help that factory calendars can be uploaded to cloud using CDS views :

https://help.sap.com/viewer/0f69f8fb28ac4bf48d2b57b9637e81fa/1908.500/en-US/a0ad8156a53146c180aa0d2f...

But I am still confused as a functional consultant ,that would like to activate factory calendars for procurement and capacity planning, how this can be set up in cloud and if on the functionalities provided by Cloud for PS, we can define and use factory calendars.

Thanks in advance for your guidance

Hi Maria .

Welcome to S4Hana Cloud

I checked in our cloud systems and there is an SSCUI called 'Maintain Calendar' 180007 in the App "Manage Your Solution " . ive attached a screenshow to show

This App is exactly like the OnPrem SCAL where you can maintain calender entries

Could you please check this SSCUI and let us know ? if you have any questions or doubts please let me know

Best Regards

Hi Enda,

We are using the 2208 release and this is not the way that we configured the factory calendar. There is a separate CBC link where the configurations are done. My question here is, how is the factory calendar migrated from non-production to production environment?

Thank you.

Regards,

Joanna
