Connecting a paid partner CAL subscription to an existing free CAL account?

Hi,

I have an SAP free CAL account for now and I have activated SAP S/4HANA 1809 FPS02, Fully-Activated Appliance Trial system in that account. I want to retain this solution post this trial period for which I know that I need to incorporate my own SAP demo licenses and purchase a paid subscription of CAL. I'm wondering once I go ahead and purchase the CAL account how will I be able to connect it to my currently existing free CAL account and will this new paid account show the solution that is already there in my current account?

Hi Tanmmay,

You can use the SAP CAL subscription in your existing CAL account to unlock the trial instance there. The prerequisite is to order the subscription with the same S-user. Otherwise you will have to reassign the trial instance as described in the blog.
