BW/4 Free trial-eclipse connect error on port 3300 -partner not reached

The standard SAP GUI Connection works ok for the instance ,but when the same GUI Connection is used to connect to BW/4Using eclipse neon an error regarding port 3300 is returned.see error message attached.

is this a gateway or a SAP Gui error ?

Hi Tony Tony,

Looks like its not able to telnet to 3300 from your system as well, check if the port 3300 is used in your process. Please check the below method,

What transaction code do i use in SAP to check if port 3300 is open ?

Hi Tony Tony,

For that no t-code, only from your laptop OS Level -->CMD

telnet <target application server> 3300

You can ask your organisation local IT guys also to help run the above

Alternatively, just wanted to check with you if you tried with other LogonGroups, or without a LononGroup
