SAP PI 7.4 to SAP EWM 9.0 integration

Has anyone integrated SAP ECC 6.0 with SAP EWM 9.0 via SAP PI? I need to build integrations between these two SAP systems. I can only find configuration document mentioning direct connection between SAP ECC and EWM, but none explaining connection via SAP PI. Version of SAP PI/PO is 7.4.

Doesn't SAP EWM include the standard ALE/iDoc framework or proxy framework for integration?

Hi Isuru,

thanks for the response. I explored those options, but EWM team insists on using RFCs for communication. The documentation which I have got from internet: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/download/attachments/473958110/003_ERP_EWM_Integration.pdf?api=v2 talks about SAP ECC to SAP EWM direct communication via qRFCs. But in one of the pages in that PDF(page 16), it mentions that internally qRFC calls tRFC, which is supported by SAP PI.

I wanted to know if someone has done that integration in the past or know of any SAP documentation, which talks about this integration/configuration.
