Inbound MATMAS Idoc not posted correctly.

We are having issues in INBOUND material master IDOC's. IDOC's are being created in sending system using change pointer, once we receive them we use SAP Standard function module IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01, to do inbound processing. All fields are being updated correctly in receiving system but MARA-LVORM(Material Deletion Flag). This functionality works fine on our TEST system but we are having issues in Production.

I knew it was a long shot but still did a remote comparison for IDOC_INPUT_MATMAS01 function module between test and production but no difference were found.

Any pointers as to what may cause this ? In other words is it possible for us to say that although an incoming idoc contains a particular field we won't be updating it in receiving system ? (Apart from FM which is being used to process the incoming Idoc )

I <u><b>must</b></u> say , just make sure about the fields in MM view in production system changes are in place .

Find out the log. From there you can identify the root cause for the problem
