We are using fund for period wise budget. We created rule in FMDERIVE from posting period to fund. Budget control begins from purchase order. Purchase requsition is ticked as statistically in update profile customizing. In our case, we have a purchase requsition in May and the system is deriving M05 as period in ME51N. after 2 months in July, we are trying to create a purchase order and waiting the system to derive the period as M07. Because we dont want to decrease the budget in purchase requsition. If i choose "Overwrite with new value If new value is not empty" the system is deriving M07 and everything is working correctly. But If I change a purchase order which has document date from 2 or 3 months ago the system is deriving period according to i changed date. For example There is purchase order and its document date is 10.03.2016. 2 months later in May, When we want to change or delete this purchase order, system is deriving M05 because of we choose Overwrite new value in FMDERIVE. If I change FMDERIVE as "Don't overwrite If field already filled" first case is not working correctly as I mentioned above. How can we correct this proccess that will correct both cases? Could you please any advise for this issue?
