Business scenarios

This is Diwakar. I have a question on ABAP programming.

I was wondering as to know what kind of business process and scenarios that an ABAP programmer need to tackle?

Can anybody give me information on business processes that an ABAP programmer should analyze and interact with a Functional person? Please provide me some of business scenarios..
