Craig,
I received my first T-shirt (the 2K one) in the mail today.. while thanking your efforts behind the process, am I still going to get my 1/4k,1/2k & 1K T-shirts or are they written off?
Regards,
Suresh Datti
Hi Suresh, Craig had mentioned before that you will received a shirt for the current "K" club that you are in, the previous will not be sent out.

Hi Rich and Suresh,
We are sorry, it was actually my call. Yes we could have send every one of them, after all you have put a lot of effort into getting up to the status where you are now.
I also understand that it would be nice to have them all hanging in your closet.
What we wanted to avoid is that the process, that took way to long anyhow is getting even more complicated and more delayed. Once you are a 2K, you don't want to run around with 1/4K or wear them one on top of the other :-).
Rest assured, the money we saved will be spend on other things for Top Contributors, like reduced tickets to TechEd ... (no garantee though).
This is a great week where we are up to date with having all crossing over iPods delivered to their rightful owners and as far as I can tell with the T-Shirts too.
From now on we hope to send you all your new level T-Shirts in a timely fashion.
Sorry again for the disappointment, Mark.
Mark,
I can understand the team effort behind this process.. I know without the SDN team's hardwork, the site wouldn't be what it is today.. T-shirts or not I love to get onto SDN at the drop of a hat.. BTW I did get lucky with the iPod & a SDN survey T-Shirt though.. so absolutely no regrets..
Regards,
Suresh Datti
P.S. Problem not solved but Question was answered!
Rich,
Thanks for the 5k trade 'off'er..I just won the iPod.. but it is my son who owns it now.. anyway I saved a "bunch of dollars" (GEICO pun unintended) and owe it all to SDN....
Regards,
Suresh Datti
P.S. I really got lucky with the iPod as that week there were only a dozen who crossed over...
Murali,
Congratulations for the win! Unlike the T-shirts, there is only one winner per week..you should be getting it soon..I got mine within a couple of weeks.. it is an iPod mini with a 4GB memory that can hold upto 1000 songs..Did you send an email to Craig confirming your mailing address?
Regards,
Suresh Datti
I'm still waiting for my first T-Shirt...And I'm an 1K member -:'(
It seems that mine get lost on the post office...So they're sending me another one...With luck...I will receive the two of them...hehehe...
I was unlucky with the IPod too...So I just spend some money on a Creative ZEN Mini 521 Mb...Not as good as the IPod...But I can listen to my lovely Punk Music while I'm working and writting on the SDN -:P
Greetings,
Blag.
I'm not going to collect the whole bunch of 1/4K, 1/2K, 1K, 2K, 5K, 10K etc. t-shirts.
I just want to get one.
I'm afraid that to be internal means no t-shirts at all and even riching 10K will make no difference.

We are finally done with the backlog and if you received a mail asking to confirm your address then you should be receiving your shirt soon (INTERNALS as well).
If you did not receive your mail I suggest you double check your SDN profile to be sure your mail address is there, your address is there and your t-shirt size is there and then the next time you cross one of the milestones you will get yours.
Hi Craig,
Regarding the t-shirts issue you stated before that I was internal (it meant that I couldn't change my address).
Now you said that if you received a mail asking to confirm your address
-- is not my case because I cannot control the administrators who maintain my address.
On the other hand you said that: If you did not receive your mail I suggest you double check your SDN profile to be sure your mail address is there, your address is there... poore internal guys and girls...
if we cannot receive a mail asking us about an address confirmation because we don't maintain our addresses. And if even we received a mail, we cannot change the addresses because of the same reason.
And your last proposal: f you did not receive your mail I suggest you double check your SDN profile to be sure your mail address is there, your address is there and your t-shirt size is there and then the next time you cross one of the milestones you will get yours.
is not funny at all. If I was asking more than a half a year ago (for the 1st time) about my 2K shirt, then -- about my 5K t-shirt. And now, if I understood you properly, because of mailfuctioning of the mailing system, you offer me to wait until I come accross the 10K -- I wouldn't live so long. So, forget about my t-shirt. I'll never ask for it again.
I should delete your message Eugene.
Internal's have internal mail addresses - we know them and your shirt is on it's way - the Palo Alto team has the packages together - in fact Mark told me that tonight on the phone.
We didn't forget the internals - never will. We're sending out a shipment now as well as a new shipment for everyone listed right now (week 23 June 6 to June 13) in the Contributor's Corner.
Craig
Hi,
You are happy guys: got iPod and T-shorts.
First time I asked for 2K T-short. In vain. Now, a few month passed as I asked for 5K T-short. Still with the same result.
Best regards,
Eugene
