We are trying to build a simple webdynpro application and move it through the DTR/CBS/CMS system. When we try to activate the project in CBS we get the following error:

Did you add the three required SCs in the <b>required</b> software components table while defining the track?

Yes we did. We added them as required SCs, and imported them in both Development and Consolidation areas when we created the track.

"USAGE IS FORBIDDEN BY SOFTWARE COMPONENT" means that you didn't define the 3 base SC's as Usage Dependencies for your own SC in the SLD. Because you didn't do this, you are not allowed to use the DC's contained within these 3 SC's.

Thank you for your help. This solved the issue. It appeared they had been added, but they were added in the CMS not the SLD.
