Member combination not excluded from BPC report

BPC 10.1 NW Classic SP0008

EPM 10 SP25 .NET 3.5

I have created a report with TIME and CATEGORY in column dimension.

CATEGORY members are ACTUAL and BUDGET. TIME members are CONTEXT and CONTEXT (OFFSET +12 members)

I need to exclude combination of CATEGORY:ACTUAL and TIME:CONTEXT (OFFSET +12 members)

This works the 1st time. But when I change the TIME context, this exclusion fails and I see all the possible combination.

If I refresh I refresh metadata for current connection and then refresh the report, this exclusion works.

I don't see any requirement to refresh metadata as I am not making any changes in any dimensions. This exclusion should work directly after change in TIME context.

Please help.

Dear Amit,

Why dont you create 2 different reports to manage actual and budget data separetely.

Just share the rows of reports and then use dimensionoverride function additionaly to manage the time dimension for one of them.

Hope i didnt get you wrong.

Dear Vadim,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have additional COST_CENTER dimension in column which is dynamic based on the context selection (Member and children). That is why I can't use static columns. I specifically require to exclude certain combination.

Thanks and regards,
Amit

Then please show report screenshot with full explanation... In general it has to be done in the original question!

It's better to use static column axis report: https://blogs.sap.com/2013/03/01/static-report-in-bpc-nw-10/

instead of excluded members!
