We have a requirement to update the Portal UME to ERP for making both passwords same. All the users which are present in ERP system are there in portal as well. I have referred the note :- 718383 and it says "the new data source does not contain users with the same unique name or logon ID as users in the database"
In our case all the portal user id's are present on ERP as well. Is it possible to update the UME to ABAP and have same password? I tried to change it in a test system but while logging in with a user I get message " no portal roles are assigned to the user" and login is not happening. Anyone tried the same scenario? Please help
