Hello experts,
I need to setup some environment and implement external portal for our business partners ( detail customers, vendors, etc). It should be Web based solution, that not require standard SAP licence (it can be over 500 users), key requirements:
- online access to SAP data (GET, POST)
- easy portal users and roles management (even for non-IT users)
- easy to use, simple Web apps / widgets.
What is your experience with similar projects? Which technology can / should I use? As I reviewed some blogs / existing solutions and found following:
- PHP portal with external DB & integration to SAP using WebServices / RFC
- External SAP Fiori solution (there is not clear about licences, that I can use to Fiori-only scenario)
- HCP based portal with SAP identity provider (it seems powerful tool, but it is too expensive for smaller projects)
- ???
