Sales order - planning item update


we have currently the follwoing process:

Day 1:

  • create planning material PM1 and planned independant requirements
  • create finished goods product (FG) and in MRP2 view we assign the finished goods to one planning material PM1, with strategy 60 or 63
  • create sales order for finished goods FG, the PM1 PIRs are reduced by the sales order

Day 2:

Customer modify one FG attributes

  • we need to create a new planning material PM2
  • in MM02 - MRP2 view we assign the finished goods FG to the new planning material PM2

the quantity of the sales order created in day 1 and not yet completed is still assigned to planning material PM1.

we need a way to assign ( by mass update) the already created sales order on FG the new planning material PM2.

this to reduce the PM2 PIRs and keep the plan correct.
