Reposcan -repair is not working

Hello all,

When I run the reposcan with -repair, rather than repairing the inconsistencies its scanning again. Tried few different options/parameters but didn't work, appreciate the input.

reposcan.exe -dbdriver oracledatabasesubsystem -connect "UID=xxxx;PWD=xxxx;DSN=proddwh;HOSTNAME=AUD-PRODDWH;PORT=xxxx" -inputfrsdir "C:\AMSAPPS\BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\FileStore\Input" -outputfrsdir "C:\AMSAPPS\BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\FileStore\Output" -dbkey password –repair

Thanks,

Aravind

The output of Repair and Scan look similar, since a Repair also includes a scan. Also, the reposcan is not capable of resolving all problems -- even after a repair, there may still be unresolved issues.

The output filename will indicate the action that took place, either Repo_Scan_yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss..xml, or Repo_Repair_yyyy_mm_dd_hh_mm_ss..xml

      Joe,

Thanks for the reply, we found the root cause of the issue. When executing "reposcan. exe -repair", there is an extra hyphen (-) which was causing repair not to work.

      Thanks,

      Aravind
