Synchronization status of parent NavigationNode does not change if we modify link components attached to child NavigationNode in CMSCockpit.

Hi Experts, I am having an issue in syncing the link component attached to child nodes. If i am editing the child nodes sync status of the parent is still in green colour, but if i am editing the parent node sync button changes to red and on syncronization changes are reflected properly. Does any one have a solution for this ??? Is it possible to bring a sync option in child level??
